- New Years Day -
In the winter of 2008 .....is when it all began!

I had never really handled the breed before I took one home, but have always taken fancy to the unique!
I find it strangely interesting that they are in their own "category" under Cylindrical Type.
They do come in 4 colors (black, blue, chocolate, & lilac) But look quite the same other than that.
After having them for just one day, I see the attraction to them. They have GREAT outgoing personality almost that of an English Lop, but not the lazy puppy dog the English are!

My first pair of Himalayan's came from Ann Lewis of Dodgeville, WI. Shortly after getting them, a gal contacted me asking if I'd take in a few rabbits, with papers, and cages! I usually offer this kind of help if needed, and she was a local 4-H so I drove out to her. I ended up getting 'Rascon's Rockstar' on this trip. What a great starter trio these 3 have turned into!

Thanks Ann for all your helpful hints... to say the least!

Not sure where this will go but always up for promoting the rare breeds.

I have been really loving the Chocolate color! I have been lucky enough to get all 4 colors in my first litter!
